Here’s how to take out tape in hair extensions yourself using Remover 1 & 2:

  1. Start with spraying Remover 1™ directly on the adhesive of your tape-in hair extensions.   

  2. Let the remover solution drip into the extension glue to soak for at least 30 seconds.   

  3. Use a comb to gently separate the tape tabs between the wefts and loosen them.    

  4. Apply more Remover 1™ as needed if the wefts don’t easily come apart, and repeat the above steps. 

  5. Gently remove hair extensions from the natural hair when they feel loose enough to remove.

  6. Next, use Remover 2™ to remove any leftover residue on the natural hair and extensions. 

  7. Use a comb in a downward direction to remove the remaining residue from the hair.

  8. Repeat the previous two steps to remove residue wherever it’s left behind in the hair. 

  9. Wash the hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove any leftover remover or residue. 

  10. Use cold water to rinse the hair after washing and conditioning.

  11. Dry the hair and prepare for reapplication.
