5 REASONS TO LOVE THICK CHICKEN VOLUMIZING FOAM

Hi there, I’m Jenn Pompa, a licensed Cosmetologist, Hair Extension expert, alternative hair wearer and lover, and one of the hair stylists behind Big Kizzy. 

I want to take a moment to talk about an amazing volumizing foam in the Kizzy line up called Thick Chick. It’s safe to say I’m obsessed. I could list 100 reasons, but we’ve both got other things to do so I’ll try to narrow it down to my top 5.

1- IT ACTUALLY WORKS! 

How do I know? Thick Chick is my secret weapon for megawatt volume looks. I’m a true Texas gal and grew up hearing “the higher the hair, the closer to God”, and I’ll tell ya Kizzy’s, Thick Chick takes my hair to the high heavens. P.S. A little goes a long way, I only need about 2-3 pumps to max out my blow-out. Love when a product works, AND the bottle lasts me a while. 

2- MY HAIR STILL LOOKS, FEELS, AND MOVES LIKE HAIR! 

I’ve tried DOZENS of volumizers. Foams, sprays, sprinkles, you name it…. Most of the products that deliver high powered lift also deliver high powered sticky icky, or create a weird waxy coating that flakes off and looks like dandruff or dry scalp- so not the case with Thick Chick. My hair is touchable, moves like normal hair, and doesn’t feel sticky or gross at all. I know this can be a concern, especially when you have extremely fine or thin hair, and I would recommend this volumizer whether you have 2 hairs or 2 heads of hair.  

3- I LIKE THAT IT’S ACTUALLY GOOD FOR MY HAIR! 

Like other savvy consumers I’ve paid closer attention to what I’m putting on/in/or around my skin and hair. I know what I don’t want (parabens, sulfates, products tested on animals, etc.) And I know what I do want: What Thick Chick has. Thick Chick has some pretty amazing ingredients like: Provitamin B5, Kelp Extract, Rice Protein…basically ingredients that help stimulate growth and promote a healthier scalp and stronger hair. It truly is a high performance hair volumizer.

4- IT’S HELLA VERSATILE

Adding 2-3 pumps to my damp towel dried hair works wonders when I blow dry with a round brush. When I’m not wearing my hair smoothed, I also use Thick Chick as a “mousse” and scrunch it through from root to end and either blow dry with a diffuser or let my hair air dry when I want to rock my natural curls. It enhances, defines and lifts without leaving my waves crunchy.

5- IT GOES WITH EVERYTHING!
Well, it goes with any type of hair! Seriously, any type of hair, and any type of hair service you are rocking. But does it work for hair with: Extensions? Yes. Color Treated? Uh-huh. Keratin Treated? Yup. Fine, Medium, Thick, Straight, Wavy, Curly? Yes, yes, and yes!
