Are you thinking about trying your hand at beaded weft extensions? We love the flawless finish of the beaded weft extension method that allows for beautifully blended extensions (that no one will know you’re wearing!). From hidden beaded row and micro-link to NBR and IBE, these extension methods all have one thing in common: extension beads.
Depending on the technique you use, the application and removal are slightly different, mainly depending on whether or not thread is used. But no matter which one you choose, you’ll definitely need beads and a bead looper tool! Are you unfamiliar with a bead looper or how to use it? Keep reading for all the details on using a looper tool for beaded weft hair extensions!
What Is a Bead Looper Tool?

A bead looper tool is used by stylists when applying beaded weft extensions. It helps to speed up the process of adding beads to the natural hair for application. Without using a looper tool, it would be much more difficult to pull small strands of hair through the beads (and way more time-consuming!).

Our Loop Tool for Weft Extensions is lightweight yet durable, making beaded weft applications quick and easy.
How Do You Use a Bead Looper?

Using a looper tool is super easy and convenient. After using it, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. Once you have your bead looper, grab your beaded weft extension beads, and you’re good to go!
Here’s how to load a bead looper tool for beaded weft extensions:
-
Pour a handful of weft extension beads into the palm of your hand.
-
Grab your looper tool and push the looped end into one of the beads.
-
Pick up the bead and push it all the way through to the end of the tool.
-
Continue adding more beads onto the loop tool until you have it at about 75% full (this way, you’ll have at least two rows worth of beads for application on your bead looper.)
After all of your extension beads are loaded onto your bead looper tool, you can start the application process! Check out the videos below to see how to apply beaded weft extensions using the looper tool:
